Day 25
June 6 - 65km (Whycocomagh)
Today, we had to make up the distance we travelled via the Cabot Trail and continue across Nova Scotia. It was still cold, by the way, but that was not stopping us.
When I arrived in Nova Scotia, I was expecting it to be a lot flatter. That did not happen to be the case, but it was okay! I was coming to like the challenge of the hills and the feeling of victory every time I got to the top.
After a long day of biking, we reached Whycocomagh. There weren’t really places to camp and we were all cold, wet and tired. I ended up knocking on someone’s door to ask if we could camp on their lawn. They graciously allowed us, and we set up for the night.
