Day 99 (ON done!)

August 19 - 113km (Whiteshell, MANITOBA!)

I woke up to an interesting man who had come nearby. After I packed up my tent, I went to have a conversation with him.

He had been living on a remote island in the bush for the last four years. He would kayak to the spot where I was camping and be picked up by a friend to go to work. He had no phone and I was absolutely fascinated by his story. It made me realize that there are so many more options to living life than the traditional path I have been conditioned to accept.

I set off today and was very excited because I would be reaching Manitoba! The shoulder was noticeably better, which again, was a huge relief. I reached the visitor centre and set up camp in the back.
