Day 15

Again, the weather was really rough, so Gene had offered his shed for another night. I really felt like I was overstaying my welcome, but according to Gene, he would tell me when my presence started to bother him. “I don’t mind it! You’ll know when I starts to mind it!”

I knew there wasn’t much till at least Deer Lake, so I went to the convenience store to get some food. I think I was an interesting sight to see as I walked in with shorts on a cold, rainy day; I say this because an older man looked bewildered when he saw me. We had a nice little conversation as to what I was doing.

I hung out in the shed for some time and just relaxed. It felt nice. I watched some Impractical Jokers and finally got to watch a playoff basketball game which I had been missing out on. I started to feel comfortable. Maybe a little too comfortable.
