Day 89

August 9 - 95km (White River)

I continued my biking today. In regards to road conditions, they weren’t great. I know I keep talking about this, but there was literally no shoulder at times. I would have to jump off onto the gravel sometimes; however, the gravel could be extremely loose and fine. It was nearly impossible to bike uphill when this was the case.

There was no divided highway (for the most part). I found that having a two lane highway on each side (so four in total) was nice because I could bike on the thin shoulder and cars could go around me.

I made it to White River, the birthplace of Winnie the Pooh, and called it a night.
