I was going to bike back to the point where I got my flat and make up the distance back to Clarenville, but Joy and Louis were going to St. John’s for the night and offered to drive me there. They would have a housesitter for the dog, but they still offered to let me stay another night. With no gear, I zoomed back to Clarenville and made up that “cheated'' distance.
