Day 65
July 16 - 82km (Colborne)
As I was packing my tent, my host came out to greet me. We had a nice chat while I got ready to go.
I wanted to hit 100km today, but my body was feeling tired. I was biking along the 2, and it was a very scenic ride. The shoulder was much better than the 7, so I definitely made the right decision in taking the added distance for the sake of safety.
I eventually reached Colbourne and made it to a pub for some food and information on where to camp. After meeting some interesting people there, I set up my tent in a park. That meant I would have to wake up and leave early in the morning so I wouldn’t get bothered by anyone.
