Day 4

May 16 - 59km

I just wanted to bike today. I left near the Avondale Speedway and headed west on the TCH.

I met an interesting guy along the way as I ate food at Mary Brown’s. He talked about his experience biking across Saskatchewan when he was a younger man with a friend; they had to stop because his friend’s legs gave out. He was a loud, lively and memorable guy.

I arrived at Bellevue about an hour or two before sunset. The campground was closed, but when I talked to a nearby motel owner, she let me camp in her front yard. She even let me charge my phone and portable charger!

I was happier with the mileage I had today - I was just praying for no more bike issues.
