Day 38
June 19 - 101km (Bobacec)
Again, I slept in (I need to be better with my mornings) and headed out. I wanted to start hitting 100km a day minimum. The legs felt a lot better, so it was a good idea taking a rest day.
I was heading for Maine because I wanted to take a detour. With the wildfires in Ontario and Quebec, along with the lingering smoke, it only made sense to me to take a little longer to reach those areas. I was born in Maine, and I wanted to reconnect with old family friends.
After hitting my 100km quota, I found a place to camp off the highway. A firefly joined me for the night! It was nice company.
