Day 11

May 23 - 65km (Appleton)

Alex had to go to Grand Falls early in the morning, but Jayden came to say goodbye to me before I left. It really did suck that I had to leave after making such awesome friends. That was that feeling of emptiness I was talking about before: you meet amazing, kind people along the way, but you have to say goodbye so soon. Jayden showed me a wheelie on his bike before I went, and I felt pretty disappointed leaving.

I made it to Appleton and set up camp in a beautiful area.
