Day 107
August 27 - 84km (Virden)
It was time to say goodbye to Sue and Art.
It was about 40km out of town where my rear wheel started to wobble again. I stopped on the side of the road and tried to diagnose the problem. After some Googling, I realized my wheel was out of true - which simply meant that it was not rotating evenly. This was because the wheel spokes were not equally tight. I had to use something called a spoke wrench, but I wasn’t even sure if I had that. This was my brother’s bike, and I was using his tools (all of which I just threw into a bag) - I eventually found a multitool and found something that looked like a spoke wrench. I did some tightening, but this only slightly alleviated the issue. I realized I was not going to be able to figure this out, so I needed the help of a bike shop.
